Online User Experience Project Manager
Overview:
Reports to: Director of Online User Experience
Location: Irving, TX (suburb of Dallas, TX)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Online User Experience Project Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of a client's online project. This includes sales support, advising clients and developing research materials, quality assurance, data collection monitoring, and analyzing and presenting the the results of the research to the client.
Job Requirements:
- Assist sales team during pre-sales process.
- Understand the client's objectives and then develop a research project and methodology that will meet these needs.
- Maintain all project materials and details within Salesforce.com.
- Work closely with Deployment team to build and deploy research project.
- Conduct quality assurance testing on built research projects.
- Monitor ongoing projects for responses, defects, etc..
- Analyze and prepare detail report that provides the results of the research including actionable recommendations based on the users' reactions, as well as his/her usability experience.
- Assists with both client and internal-based projects of a technical nature necessitating a high degree of technical aptitude
- Deploy process improvements.
- Assist other Online Experience project managers when necessary
- Complete assigned quarterly objectives
What is WebIQ®?
WebIQ is an ActiveX® research technology that enables our clients to perform interactive web research with their actual site visitors. Deployed primarily as an ‘opt-in' technology, WebIQ monitors and logs user experiences and responses through the duration and navigation sequences of their site visit. USC also offers additional online research offerings including online task-based research (WebTQ) and traditional HTML based surveys (WebHQ).
Preferred Skills:
- A strong desire to make a product (website, software, hardware) "usable".
- Project lifecycle experience with web application implementations.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task on multiple projects, as well as non-project related work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability and desire to work effectively as a member of a team.
- The ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment.
- Self-starter who is comfortable with minimal day-to-day guidance and independently managing deadlines.
- Ability to work well with a variety of high-profile clients.
- Proficiency in Mocrosoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and virtual meeting software tools.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative/qualitative skills with the ability to make sound recommendations and decisions based on online surveys is essential.
- At least 12 months of experience as a Usability Support Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree required.
